recipe: Easy Pork-Mayo Bake

It is one of those recipes that’s worth having in case of unexpected guests showing up for dinner or when you want to impress someone with your cooking skills without actually having cooking skills. You need only 35 minutes and just a few ingredients.

Serves: 2 (main size)

Ingredients:

4 x 90g pork sirloin steaks, flattened to about 3mm

salt & pepper to season, about 1/2 tsp each

1 medium onion, sliced

150g swiss (or other melty) cheese, sliced

Roza’s Orange & Ginger mayonnaise, 1 jar – 240ml

Directions:

Preheat oven to 180C (fan forced).

Season the pork with salt and pepper, place in a baking tray. Cover with a layer of onion (half of what you have), layer of cheese and another layer of onion. Top with a layer of Roza’s Orange & Ginger mayo.

Bake for 25 min.

Serve with a simple orange salad (orange segments + mixed salad leaves + sliced cucumber).
